Smilow Connections Newsletter

This inspirational newsletter series was created for breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at the Smilow Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital. Through its pages, patients gained access to insightful profiles spotlighting the dedicated physicians and staff members as well as crucial updates on the latest treatment advancements.

In addition, this important newsletter functioned as a comprehensive resource, informing patients about the array of supportive services available to them during their journey.

I also designed the logo identity for this series.

Timex Ironman Kidsrace Booklet

I had the opportunity to contribute my design skills to this fun project – the Timex Ironman Kidsrace. This engaging project involved creating the elements that brought the event to life. From conceptualizing the event logo that served as the race's emblem to designing the medals that celebrated each participant's accomplishment, I shaped the visual identity of the race.

Additionally, I designed the commemorative t-shirts, ensuring that the young athletes could proudly showcase their involvement as well as the application book for this fun event.

Nurses Week Celebration Materials

While at Nuvance Health each year I had the honor of spearheading the design efforts for their Nurses Week celebration. This weekly celebration pays tribute to the invaluable contributions of the hospital’s dedicated nursing professionals.

This multifaceted project allowed me to exercise my creative talents by conceptualizing a fresh, captivating design annually. The scope of my involvement encompassed creating posters as well as designing electronic signage, event programs and awards books. This annual undertaking allowed me to contribute to an initiative that honored the selfless service and unwavering commitment of nursing professionals.

Palliative Care Trifold

This informative trifold brochure was aimed at providing patients and their loved ones with a comprehensive understanding of the palliative care program offered at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

This resource served as a compassionate guide, educating patients and their loved ones about the program's mission and services in a clear and accessible manner. The design elements were chosen to create a sense of comfort and support by presenting the palliative care approach in a warm and reassuring light.  

Vital Signs Employee Newsletter

I enjoyed designing the internal newsletter series, "Vital Signs,"
for Western Connecticut Health Network. This quarterly communication initiative served to disseminate essential information to the network's employees across the hospital system.

Through the pages of "Vital Signs,"
I aimed to design an engaging and informative piece that kept employees apprised of the latest developments, initiatives and accomplishments within the organization. Using my creative eye for design along with a deep understanding of the audience's needs, I meticulously designed each issue to foster a sense of community, pride, and shared purpose among the network's dedicated employees.

This series won a NESHCo, Lamplighter Award
of Excellence.

I spearheaded the design and coordination of this comprehensive patient guide aimed at providing invaluable support and information to individuals preparing for surgery at Norwalk Hospital. This vital resource serves as a trusted companion, guiding patients through every step of their journey, from pre-operative preparations to post-operative care.

I enjoyed thoughtfully organizing the content to address the myriad of questions and concerns that often arise during this crucial process.

Vein and Vascular Specialist Brochure

I had the opportunity to design this comprehensive, physician-facing brochure that provides an in-depth overview of the cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures available at Western Connecticut Health Network.

This brochure highlights the state-of-the-art technologies and advanced techniques as well as the bios of the WCHN vascular specialists. My design combines a seamless blend of informative content and captivating visuals, ensuring that physicians can easily grasp the network's extensive capabilities.

This catalog won an American Graphic Design Award.

I spearheaded the design efforts for the launch of a new employee wellness program with this book.

Through the pages of this book, I sought to capture the essence of holistic wellness, seamlessly blending engaging content with imagery and infographics.

In addition to this book, I developed a series of supporting materials, including promotional posters, informative flyers and digital assets… all cohesively designed to reinforce the program's messaging and foster a deep sense of engagement among employees.
